Stretching over 5 mountain peaks, reaching 12,998 feet in elevation with a 3,398 vertical rise, and covering 2,908 acres, Breckenridge is a skier and snowboarder paradise. The terrain is varied with 187 trails, 34 chairlifts including 11 magic carpets for beginners, 600 acres of immaculate groomers, 1061 acres of intermediate and expert bowl skiing, four award-winning terrain parks including a 22’ superpipe, and steeps to challenge the most experienced snow riders. Breckenridge welcomes skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels, with 11% of the mountain rated “Easiest”, 31% “More Difficult”, 24% “Most Difficult”, and 34% “Expert”. Beginner terrain provides some of the most inviting trails on which to learn of any resort, with long and gradually descending slopes that make learning comfortable and easy.

It is hard to imagine even thinking about exploring another mountain, but if you would like to conquer other resorts on your vacation, Breckenridge is a member of the Vail Resorts family. This means that your 3 day or more lift ticket affords you access to a number of other area resorts including nearby Keystone and A-Basin as well as Vail and Beaver Creek located within a 60 minute drive of town. Purchase the Epic Pass through Rocky Mountain Getaways and you will enjoy access to all of these resorts in Colorado; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar, and Kirkwood in Lake Tahoe; Perisher Mountain in Australia; Mount Brighton and Ashton Mountain in the midwest; and potential other destinations that partner with the pass.
