Super Snowy Science
Come explore the \”wonders of winter\” through an investigation of the science behind snow. Keystone Science School instructors will lead the group through exploring different types of snow crystals, inspecting layers of snow through snow pits, discovering the ‘life-cycle’ of snow and learning how snow types and the environment can lead to avalanches. The ‘snow’ is the limit with this fun interactive program.

Critters Discovery
Explore some of the animals that make their home in the forest around Keystone! We will examine animal furs, tracks, and scats, while learning about some cool adaptations that animals use to survive our harsh high alpine winters. This program, offered by Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, provides a fun hands on learning experience for all ages!

Old-Fashioned Tubing with Ripperoo
Come experience the Nordic Center’s Tubing Hill the old-fashioned way- walk up, slide down! This is a great activity for families of all ages. Ripperoo will be hanging around to join in on the fun! We’ll have snowman making kits available too!
